At the North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami, actor Kevin Connolly, best known for the HBO series Entourage, announced the creation of a new TV show called Cryptos. According to the actor, the new show will help the public better understand the innovation system of cryptocurrency.
In the near future, all fans of the digital currency will find a pleasant surprise: the United States produced a TV show Cryptos. The plot of the new TV show will focus on a young startup trying to launch cryptocurrency entertainment platform. Actor Kevin Connolly, known for his role as Eric Murphy in the popular series Entourage, will not only reappear on the screen, but also act as a director of several episodes devoted directly to cryptocurrency.
Co-producers Cryptos are Jason king and Erik Sords, the co-founders of the Academy School of Blockchain. King is known for having helped to open a homeless shelter in Florida due to cryptocurrency donations.
King shared some details about the new series:
"For the production of a TV show meets American Cinema International. We are currently under pre-production. I read the script of the pilot episode, and joined the team about six months ago to help in the development of the plot for the first season. We plan to start shooting in may of this year."
Erik Sords, in turn, is developing "a decentralized global studio" called the Dionysia, which is located in Los Angeles. One of the storylines of the series Cryptos will be devoted to the complex process of financing films through digital currencies and the creation of P2P film studio ― the same as Dionysia.
In a recent interview, the show’s actor and director Kevin Connolly said:
"People are afraid to conceptualize cryptocurrencies because of lack of understanding. People like me, are still in the learning process, but everything to do with cryptocurrencies, very intriguing. Sords and king want to introduce cryptocurrency to the mainstream, and I, as a director, want to help them, telling on the screen a cool story with cool characters. This is exactly what the viewer expects to see in Cryptos".
Connolly also emphasized that the most interesting part of the pilot scenario was the participation of a diverse team of people who were ready to go against the privileged circles of society and radically change the entire Hollywood system.
The audience gathered at the TNABC event, warmly welcomed the idea of a new show. According to Connolly, the producers intend to produce a total of 10 episodes for the first season. In addition, they hope that Cryptos will fall into the catalogues of the largest streaming platforms such as Netflix and Amazon Prime.
