Cryptocurrency Finance company Circle Internet Financial Ltd. willing to buy the crowdfunding platform SeedInvest, which is also engaged in brokerage and dealer activities. Terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed.
Investment platform SeedInvest was founded in 2012 in New York city. Since then, the company raised capital for 220 firms through more than 240 thousand investors. The average size of investment in any company amounts to 500 thousand dollars, and the maximum amount of investments has reached two million dollars.
Once the transaction is approved by The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Circle will have an opportunity to expand SeedInvest’s offerings. The platform will support cryptocurrencies and stablecoins and to issue tokenized securities.

"SeedInvest is a company that is willing to cooperate with the government for the introduction of innovations in the field of raising capital. Crypto-stocks will become a new category of securities and will be used by all companies. This will become commonplace, just like presence a website at every self-respecting business company".
This week, Circle has launched a new feature Collections for its crypto investment app Circle Invest. Using this feature, customers can invest in one or more collections of cryptocurrency assets, each of which relates to a specific topic: platforms, payments and privacy. After choosing a collection category, users can invest in the entire category in one swoop.
In September, the Circle has launched a USD Coin (USDC) — USD-backed digital token. More than 20 companies have declared readiness to support the USDC, and some are considering adding a new token to trade through the open standard ERC-20.
The company Circle was founded in 2013 by the largest investment bank Goldman Sachs. The company offers four products, including Circle Pay service (fiat money sending service with a social messaging component) and Circle Trade (OTC platform that provides liquidity of cryptocurrencies).
